Capacities is a powerful tool for connecting knowledge. This guide provides essential information for IT departments, Security teams, and individual users to ensure a seamless and secure experience when using Capacities within a corporate environment.
For Capacities to function correctly, your organization's network firewall or proxy must allow access to our core domains. If you have a restricted network, please ensure the following domains and subdomains are whitelisted by your IT administrator:
*.capacities.io (Our main application and API services)*.cloudflare.com (Used for content delivery network (CDN) and security services)*.) to accommodate future updates and ensure performance.Capacities is all about connecting and drawing links across your knowledge. If your work and organization allows it, it may make sense to keep everything in one account and one space to be able to connect different work topics with the research, courses or learnings you do outside of work. We see users that are self-employed workers and work in smaller organizations tend to benefit from this.
If your organization is more strict about this, or you would like to fully separate your work notes from your personal ones, you could always either create a separate space within the same account - or create an entirely different account for work.
If you or your organization have any other concerns please reach out to us at team@capacities.io and we'll be happy to support you.
If you, your IT or Security department requires more detailed technical documentation, please contact us at team@capacities.io. We'll be happy to help sorting through issues with your IT department or explaining things in more detail.
If you find Capacities useful at your workplace, you're probably working with people that would benefit from using it too!
