Your content is synchronized between your devices when you're connected to the internet.
Once you're offline or there's a problem with the synchronization, you'll see an in the top right corner of the app. There are different states of synchronization:
There is no connection to the servers of Capacities. You can still work on your notes, but they won't be synchronized until you're online again.
If you're not offline but still see the offline icon, there are a few things you can try:
Your notes are currently being synchronized. This can take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the amount of objects that needs to be synchronized. You see a spinning icon in the top left. Please wait until the synchronization is finished before you close the app.
The server of Capacities is offline. This means that you can't synchronize your notes at the moment and all functions which require online access don't work either. You can still work on your notes, but some functions might not work as expected and your notes won't be synchronized until the server is back online. Please make sure to not logout or reset the app in this case.
These are very rare events and if you see this message, you can be sure that we're working hard to get the server back online as soon as possible. If you want to stay updated, please check our status page or join our community.

In very rare cases, there was a problem with the synchronization. This can have multiple reasons, a problem with the server, or a problem with your account. In this case you need to restart Capacities. If the problem persists, please contact us.
If you see this message, Capacities was unable to update content on this device. Content on your device can be out of sync with the server. If the problem persists, please reboot the app. You can reboot the app under Settings > Account > Reboot.
